  • Abstract
    In this paper, we presents a loss analysis in soft switching boost converter using a single switch. The proposed paper shows a measurement of efficiency according to the optimal design. Also, we made a linearized equivalent circuit for analyzing the loss of switch and diodes. Soft switching boost converter designed with 200-350 [V] input, 400 [V] 2.5 [A] output and 30 [kHz] switching frequency is tested respectively with 10[%] ~100[%] load variation. The total losses in input 200 [V], 1 [kW] load are analyzed by using the linearized equivalent loss models.
