Abstract
A method of route retrieving in the three-dimensional building is introduced in this paper. With the method, a single pixel width hallway path is computed from blue print image, and then a weighted route graph is generated by segmenting the path into edges and integrating the compartments as nodes. The prototype system has verified the method is effective and pragmatic in the route retrieving application.
