Abstract
This paper defines a process for evaluating business process ideas and concepts. The emphasis is on the systematic analysis of the impact of anticipated change for business improvement and the potential cost and benefits to the business process using quality function deployment techniques. The process is applicable to the process management or process engineering of large-scale business processes spanning across multiple organizations. The process may be too expensive to apply to detailed work group level processes; however it is very much needed in order to manage business processes across large corporations, across divisions or for other large organizations
