Abstract :
Long-haul transmission across six 640/spl times/640 (320 working+320 protection) wavelength-selective cross-connects, interconnected by six 125 km spans of Raman-amplified NZ-DSF fiber using 32 wavelengths at 10 Gb/s, is reported. System configuration, and optical signal to noise ratio (OSNR) and Q performances are presented.
