Abstract :
In this paper, a three-phase six-switch high power factor rectifier with passive lossless snubber based on one cycle control is researched. The principle and control laws of three-phase six-switch rectifier are deduced. A new PFC controller based on one cycle control technology is designed. Its control logic is very simple, the multipliers and input voltage sensors that are required to scale the current reference according to the load level as used in many other control approaches are not needed. The control circuit can be implemented by the general integrate circuit and electronic devices. A 2 kW prototype with passive lossless snubber is built to verify the theoretical analyses. Experimental results of steady test and dynamic state test prove that the rectifier´s power factor can reach 0.992, it can achieve low current distortion and unity power factor correction. The cost of the whole system is effectively controlled. Its application prospect is wide.
