Abstract
Success in negotiations between East and West often hinges on cross-cultural issues. This paper presents a case study of negotiations between an Australian project team and the Vietnamese authorities to install the first mobile telecommunications network in the country. Issues during the design, development and delivery phase of the project are documented with particular reference to the use made of multimedia authoring facilities
