Abstract
This paper presents a five-part taxonomy for classifying technologies used by professional communicators in their work: technologies for creating content, preparing content for publication publishing content, managing the publishing process, and sharing content. A taxonomy structures this sometimes confusing space and, in doing so, lets instructors prepare sustainable curricula and syllabi, ones that can easily adjust to most changes in technology.
