  • Abstract
    As face detection techniques are being widely exploited by the applications in various areas, it is clearly imperative that the performance of a face detection algorithm needs to be studied in the context of the fundamental properties of images. In this paper, as our experimental evaluation, we demonstrate that the performance of a face detection algorithm can be affected by the luminance space in an image.
