  • Abstract
    This paper proposes five heuristics for the vendor- managed inventory problem of convenience stores with stock-out based item substitution while maximizing supply chain profit. The performance of the proposed heuristics is evaluated via a computer simulation to reflect the demand uncertainty and marketing activity. Furthermore, a sensitivity analysis is carried out.
