Abstract :
The Electric Fuel zinc-air battery system is being tested in fleet programs throughout Europe, with the programs in various stages. In Germany, Sweden and Italy, vehicles powered by the Electric Fuel zinc-air battery system are being tested in demonstration drives. In the Netherlands, a new program is getting underway to utilize the Electric Fuel zinc-air battery system in fleet vehicles. Electric Fuel is working with the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) in the United States and Tomen Corporation in Japan on establishing fleet demonstration programs in these countries as well. This paper describes the various fleet demonstration programs utilizing the Electric Fuel zinc-air battery system
