Abstract :
The proposed system is aimed to capture signals from medical systems, converts it into digital format using an A/D converter and stores the signal into a digital storage medium using a single chip. This system is designed to be a low-cost and also small in size. The low-cost and size are due to embedding multiple processing components on a single chip. Hence, it can be portable, and attaches easily to various medical devices. The storage medium for the proposed system is a secure digital (SD) card.
