  • Abstract
    The market for Li-ion batteries is discussed along with comments regarding the competition of Li-ion batteries with Ni-MH and Ni-Cd cells for market acceptance. The performance of the Valence polymer Li-ion cell is described in detail. Preliminary engineering specifications for cellular phone and notebook computer batteries are presented.
