Abstract :
The main point of this work is to study the algorithm for designing H2/H∞ controllers. In this algorithm there are three Riccati equations two of them being coupled. The numerical problems to solve these equations have been often cited in many papers, and until this time there have not been any conclusive results. In this paper the authors study two algorithms in order to solve these Riccati equations,which are applied in some typical systems that have already discussed. The conclusions are related to convergence, numerical accuracy and processing time.
