Abstract :
This paper considers the robust H2/H∞ control problem for time invariant systems with time varying structured parameter uncertainties in the state space model. We present a simple sufficient condition in terms of a Riccati equation to design a robust controller that quadratically stabilizes the closed loop uncertain system and minimizes the H2 performance bound with an H∞ disturbance attenuation constraint. Finally, we also include an example and illustrate robustness of the proposed design method.
