Abstract :
MANBoP is a framework specifically oriented to the management of IP active networks. Based on policy networking and active network technologies, it is one of the first attempts for the management of active and programmable network environments. The framework adapts its functionality on run-time to cope with new active services dynamically installed in the network and heterogeneous managed devices. This extension is realized based on the rights of the user and the management level at which the framework is acting (e.g. network or element level).
