Abstract
This paper presents the analysis of the stator current signature of the induction motor by the traditional methods that use fast Fourier transform (FFT), short-term Fourier transform (STFT) and the representation by spectrogram. The obtained results on four designed induction machines and are especially constructed for the purpose of the defects diagnosis are presented. One compares these results with those gotten by the help of transformed it in wavelets. Then, the dynamic performances of the squirrel-cage rotor induction machines with their respective faults while using an analytic method based on the equivalent diagram and the vector diagram of the currents, is analyzed.
