  • Abstract
    The technical advances in the automation system has affected not only engineering fields, but various interdisciplinary fields including performing art. In the field of the performing art, the automation system enables to control various stage devices at the same time. An authoring tool is one of the important components for the stage automation. In this paper, the virtual environment based authoring tool is proposed. The proposed tool provides the virtual scene and graph interface for the management of the stage performance. The proposed tool was tested with robot actors and showed its usefulness.
