Abstract
Strong linguistic skills and communicative competence are crucial factors for advanced professional performance in a global competitive world. People from different cultures use different linguistic codes and communicative strategies to achieve their goals. Cross-cultural training provides a necessary framework for understanding the ways of being and working in another culture.
