Abstract :
In the area of OTA performance testing of MIMO-enabled LTE devices several test methodologies have been proposed, and results from several measurement campaigns are available. This paper presents the decomposition method distinguishing in its simplicity, short test time and large quiet zone size for DUT. In particular, spatial characteristics like angle-of-arrival or polarization of signals are presented and investigated. Possibility to separate static and faded measurements is validated which allows considerable shortening of the method test time.
