Abstract :
This paper focuses on the main aspects of modelling the stability of lexico-semantic groups, containing the most frequent nouns used in modern English, being the heads of noun phrases. Stability modelling is analysed on the material of modern English fiction with the help of statistic formulas-variation coefficient (V) and standard deviation (σ).
