  • Abstract
    Using the Internet to enhance E-learning has become a trend in modern higher education institutes. This paper presents an interactive multimedia E-learning environment Based on Wireless PDA. System is mainly used for medical students through distance to study the knowledge about skin diseases. Students can use handheld PDA devices through the network to identify the specific skin diseases. System is composed of four part, such as online studying the module, long-range communicate managing the module, image recognition module, image database administration module. The student gains the medicine scene actual case to study picture and the related knowledge about specific skin diseases. The database system adopts advanced registration administration mechanism. Using artificial intelligence technology, the system can complete the original medical images for classification, feature extraction and embedded tags. Using image-recognition technology, the system can dynamically identify and match pictures. With the application of Wireless PDA technology, the system will be more efficient for college students in higher education.
