Abstract
Web 2.0 is a human-oriented Internet characterized by interaction, individuation and decentralization, which takes every user to be both information receiver and provider. It makes more free, quality and instant information accessible to users. During the Internet-based study, every learner plays the roles of knowledge obtainer and knowledge inventor at the same time. They are connected through the net and consist of an E-learning community. The application of multiple Social Network Software (SNS) has just catered for the demand of E-learning. This paper discusses the influence of all the above-mentioned technical characteristics of Web2.0 on E-learning in terms of RSS, interaction and individuation.
