  • Abstract
    Eco-innovation (EI) pursues to bring environmental and economic win-win outcomes, including competitive performance and environmental performance, which possess the property of double externality and to present multi-motivations. Based on empirical analyses of EI on 246 enterprises in China, the econometric estimations show that the impact of different motivations on EI performance. In this study, notion-driven motivation and profit-driven motivation show a significant impact on competition performance of enterprise and a more remarkable notion-driven effect, while pressure-driven motivation and notion motivation triggers environmental performance and a more remarkable pressure-driven effect. The result can provide a directive and referential significance to improving enterprise´s EI performance.
