Abstract :
This research focused on developing a framework for medical innovation products (MIP) development. Scope of MIP development process is based on government university hospital. The structure of research process taken in this paper based on three empirical case studies to build a conceptual process of MIP invention. An additional case study used to validate and test the developed model. Specifically, this MIP development process framework comprised of five main steps which are- (1) preliminary systematic analysis; (2) risk management; (3) MIP conceptualize design; (4) clinical development; and (5) production and MIP marketing management. Moreover, this research revealed that effective factors for implementing MIP are the technological screening, interdisciplinary blending, systematic management, value creation, and synthesis design into MIP invention process for future development.
