Abstract :
A multiple-switch integrated filter forward converter (MSIFFC) is proposed. Because equal voltage sharing among series connected switches can be achieved, it is subjected to lower voltage stress across the individual switches with 2/M the input voltage (M: no. of MOSFETs). It offers the advantages of reduced power device cost and higher reliability for high input voltage applications. In this paper, the circuit operation is illustrated by PSpice simulation waveforms, and an experimental 100 kHz, 360-400 V, 5 V/20 A converter is described
