  • Abstract
The anthropocentric cell manufacturing system (ACMS), using a basic concept of skill-based manufacturing and integration of automation system is proposed. Manufacturing systems generally require an appropriate communication system to manage and control ACMS resources. The model of ACMS communication system composes of management, manufacturing, and new OJT unit. The proposed model is initially constructed by an application of information technologies, consisting of Visual Basic programming, JAVA RMI-IIOP, Telnet-SMTP, videoconference, RFID and a computer network. The operations of three units of the communication model, including schedule notice, manufacturing execution and new OJT training execution are designed in order to implement subsequent thirteen procedures to these communication units. An implementation of the system results in simple operation and ACMS compatibility.
