The travelling public needs to be able to raise an alarm in the instance of personal safety, health concerns or to report an observation about the safety of equipment in their vicinity. The priority alarm system is a means of displaying information to the crew for conditions in their consist of passenger cars, which can be multiplexed on existing train lines
