Abstract :
The throughput of PDP/LCD production is decreased by the scratch of the FPD glass surface that is occurred by line or plane contact when FPD glass is transferred or stacked in manufacturing process of PDP/LCD. In order to prevent the decrease of the throughput, the paper or film is coated on the surface of FPD glass. This is one of very important processes in PDP/LCD manufacturing and the solution of problem to be scratched on surface of FPD glass is very important for the chemical treatment of the surface in FPD post-process, ITO and electrode formation process. In this study, the developed system to coat protecting film on FPD glass without using any adhesive agent is applied to the manufacturing process of the next generation of PDP/LCD.
