Study on operation modes and implementation tactics of patent pool

To realize enterprises´ patent strategy in complex innovation environment, patent pool is an important method. According to whether there exists dominant enterprise in the operation process of patent pool or not, the patent pool operation modes consist of pool platform basis and dominant enterprise basis. Then, analyze and compare the patent licensing mode and fee, patent judgment of joining pool, ways of getting benefit and so on between the two operation modes of patent pool. Finally, the paper proposes the concrete tactics for alliance enterprise using patent pool to gain competitive advantage.
