Abstract :
In this paper we present experimental results of a robustly controlled flexible wind turbine system. A set of experimental models representing the behavior of the wind turbine have been estimated. For the H∞ robust control design procedure this set has been approximated by a nominal model and an uncertainty bound in the gap metric. The synthesized low order H∞ controller is approximated in order to operate on a computer having integer arithmetic. Finally experimental results are shown and compared with a model on first principles.
