Abstract :
The results of designing of an L-band synthesizer for C-band satcom stations are presented. The synthesizers allows the setting of the frequency band 760-860 MHz with 100 kHz spacing. The synthesizer´s phase noise level is -80 to -83 dB/Hz at frequency offsets 100 Hz to 1 kHz, the spurious signals level is below -60 dB. The harmonic level in L- to C-band is below -48 dB. The synthesizer employs the LMX2326 IC. Supply voltage is 6-12 V and power supply current is below 30 mA. The dimensions of the synthesizer´s board are 20/spl times/40 mm. Now C-band synthesizers are being developed.
