  • Abstract
    We review the generalization of phase-conjugated twin waves (PCTWs) for fiber nonlinearity-tolerant transmission, in which twin waves occupy any orthogonal dimensions. A broadband polarization-insensitive fiber-optical parametric amplifier is shown to efficiently generate 1.024-Tb/s Nyquist-WDM vector PCTWs.
