Abstract
Methods proposed for the design of robust controllers include quantitative feedback theory (QFT) and robust multivariable control. By reconciliating these methods one of the main weaknesses of QFT is removed, that is, it is shown that Nichols chart robustness bounds can be calculated without gridding of the uncertainty set by using standard tools from robust multivariable control.
