Abstract
The robustness of the tension control system related to a strip accumulator of an industrial rolling process is considered. The accumulator system makes continuous operation of the process possible. Models for simulation and design are presented and the pertinent disturbance is identified. Finally, the application of the LQG/LTR compensation method to the accumulator system is presented
