Evaluation on virtual logistics enterprises competitiveness based on SEM

In order to evaluate competitiveness of virtual logistics enterprises in the process of logistics partner selection, establishing a scientific and suitable evaluation index system is the key step. This paper uses structural equation model (SEM), through an example, demonstrates the amending and optimized process for evaluation index system. Firstly an evaluation index system of competitiveness of VLE is established. Then use the SEM to amend and use the software LISREL to assignment the weights. Finally, apply this index system to appraisal competitiveness of virtual logistics enterprises. Suggestion and reference method are provided for logistics customer enterprises to build the evaluating indicator system.
