Abstract :
Planar antennas with complex shape are among the types of UHF antennas. Such antennas belong to microstrip structures, but in contrast to resonant emitters they have wide band of frequencies. However, design of such emitters is much more complicated than the design of resonant microstrip antennas. This is related to the fact that there are mathematical difficulties when using a classical solution. So computational techniques are the basic methods for such antenna analysis. The paper is devoted to the investigation of possibility of applying moment method to the analysis of complex planar emitting structures. For a thin planar curved antenna, which is printed on a dielectric substrate with thickness B and dielectric permeability, /spl epsiv/ is taken for the analysis. We introduced the following initial points: 1) transverse dimensions (a) of a conductive printed track of the emitter is much less than wavelength (h) in the free space. The track length is much more greater than the track width. 2) An input impedance and the antenna pattern are calculated on the assumption that only longitudinal component of the current exists (asymmetrical current components can be ignored under condition a<\n\n\t\t
