Abstract :
EIS (Executive Information Systems) is mainly aimed to provide real time representative information to the high-level management. Based on each executive´s information needs, EIS can access both historical and real-time data through ad-hoc queries. This paper presents the concept and the architecture of EIS and also the criteria for evaluating Executive Information Systems. Finally, the advantages of EIS are put forward.
