Abstract :
In this paper, a novel energy-aware routing protocol is proposed and it is based on the reliability. Since in the wireless environment, the link quality is difficult to guarantee, the reliable routing protocol is a quite important issue to be studied. By using the local selection, path reservation and path delay broadcast, the new protocol reduce the re-transmission which is caused by the path failure. Furthermore, the performance of the new routing protocol is demonstrated by using the simulation results. From the simulation results, compared with other routing protocols, this protocol has the better performance on the aspects of saving energy and buffer.
