Research on oil Camellia industry development of Hubei Province in China based on regional industrial competitiveness

Based on the theory of regional industrial competitiveness, using comparative, qualitative and quantitative research methods, this paper compared the Oil Camellia industry of Hubei Province and other main producing provinces, and studied its internal conditions and external environment. Hubei Province has disadvantages in the scale of recourses, the conversion of scientific research, the number and yield of processing enterprises. But advantages are the structure of Camellia forest, the expansion of new Camellia forest and the construction of elite germchit bases. In addition, the Oil Camellia industry of Hubei is facing great external opportunities. Through analyzing, this paper puts out the key points to speed up the development of the Oil Camellia industry in order to give some useful advice to Hubei Province.
