Abstract :
An attempt is made to identify the limitations of current information system development methods, to introduce the requirements for future methods, and to propose a method whose long-term goal is to meet these requirements. The goal is to avoid the invention of a completely new method to meet the requirements of object orientation, prototyping, and knowledge modeling. The ability of the results of specific research efforts in the area of conventional information system method to be extended in order to meet these requirements is analyzed. The basic step-by-step idea of the THM-M (temporal-hierarchic model M) has been considered for the incremental approach, where most of the steps have been redefined and extended
