Abstract :
In this work, I-V curves of bulk heterojunction organic solar cells were simulated using Silvaco ATLAS TCAD tool and the dependence of performance metrics on blend thickness was investigated. The results from the simulations were compared with experimental data from literature. It was observed that as thickness of the blend increases, the difference in values of parameters calculated assuming uniform exciton generation and non-uniform generation increases.
