Abstract
An innovative image processing algorithm as Drowsy driver detection methods can form the basis of a system to potentially reduce accidents related to drowsy driving. an image processing algorithms along with non-intrusive approach. In this method Region of Interest (ROI) is going to be an eye, whose statistical property (average blob area) is considered. The fatigue is detected based on the statistical value calculated for the ROI. When fatigue is detected, a warning signal is issued to alert the driver.
