Abstract
It designs and constructs a uniform database for all kinds of metadata, due to the diversity of category and metadata data structures of national satellite remote sensing images. And it researches and develops a metadata database management system based on C/S structure, which achieves systematic management of all kinds of satellite remote sensing image metadata. Besides, it analyses and summarizes some correlation technique utilized in the construction, which would provide theoretic and technical references for this system´s perfection and maintenance in the future.
