Abstract :
The construction of western Hubei´s ecologicalcultural tourism circle is an important move to profoundly implement scientific outlook on development, optimize regional development pattern of the whole province. The construction of highway and transportation infrastructure is an important item in the construction of western Hubei´s circle, so how to build a tourism brand and realize a durable development of tourism circle based on the highway infrastructure is a subject worthy of further research. The highway landscape is the main item of ecological highway as well as an important guarantee to relieve the ecological and environmental pressure of highway and to realize the object of constructing an ecological-cultural tourism circle of western Hubei. Following the principle of global harmony between the resource development and environment protection, this paper has probed into the highway landscape with an ecological idea, introduced the idea of natural ecology and human ecology into high landscape design to build a highway landscape with a combination of regionalism of nature and humanity in western Hubei circle. This paper advocates that the duty of environment protection should be fulfilled in the construction of highway in the ecological and cultural tourism circle of west Hubei, with economic benefit, social benefit and ecological benefit all taken into account to promote a durable development of human society.
