Abstract :
This study was carried out to determine the effect of temperatures on in vitro pollen germination and storage of Tree peony. The result indicated that the temperature affected pollen germination and pollen tube growth significantly. The pollens cultured at 10°C and 40°C were deactivation and the pollen cannot germinate normally. The best results related with pollen germination and pollen tube growth were observed at 20°C and 25°C. Pollen germination was also examined up to 48 days at low temperature, pollens stored at -70°C showed better germination percentage as compared to pollens stored at 4°C and -20°C.
