Abstract :
Bed temperature, being one of the most important parameters in a fluidized bed combustion system, has a direct effect on system internal parameters. It affects both system overall efficiency and pollutants emission included in the exhaust gas. Because of the lack of comprehensive studies on bed temperature in fluidized bed combustors, the aim of this work is to construct a robust controller for this section. The technique to be presented in this paper is Hinfin control. The Hinfin controller guarantees the stability and performance of the system over parameters variation ranges in different operating conditions, which is disregarded in the previous studies. These studies, which mainly use models with fixed parameters or apply intelligent algorithms to control FBC systems, cannot guarantee the stability and desired performance of the system in different conditions.
