Abstract
In this paper a brief review of some new results of development novel generation cylindrical plasma devices based on the idea of magnetic insulation electrons and an electrostatic plasma lens configuration. The operation and features of some cylindrical plasma devices, based on plasma lens configuration, the results of theoretical consideration plasma dynamical discharges characteristics and experimental investigations physical mechanisms and determining optimal operation conditions of these device were described in this study. Also, the results of further improved experiments on their applications to ion treatment and the synthesis thin films of metal binary stoichiometric compounds were summarized.
