  • Abstract
Two novel schemes for generation of DC glow discharges with miniature gas flow are discussed in this study. One is the combination of miniature gas flow and an electrolyte-cathode atmospheric glow discharge wherein a yellow light emission is observed when discharge current is increased. The other is an atmospheric DC microplasma generated along two intersecting miniature gas flows which consists of two different plasmas that are connected in series. Plasma characteristics depend on the kind of gas and the direction of gas flows.
