  • Abstract
    Service area is one of fundamental parts in freeway, an important mark to show freeway´s perfection. Its disposition plays very important role in reducing the traffic accidents, optimizing the driving environment, raising the operational and social efficiency. The issue, which should be seriously considered during freeway plan and construction, is how to make facility disposition at service area suitable, to meet the demands of customers, to save the land and capital and to protect the environment. It is necessary to study the facility disposition at service area in freeway according to region characteristic, for there are difference in some factors, such as natural condition and economic development in china.
