Abstract :
With exploitation of the wind power technology, the offshore wind power has a rapid development and it is becoming a concerns focus of the world´s renewable energy problems. The construction of offshore wind power has entered the large-scale development stage in the world. An overview of the development of wind power is introduced from several aspects of development status and development trends of the offshore wind power domestic and abroad. The development of offshore wind power is facing some of the problems and countermeasures to be taken. The development plan of offshore wind power of major countries is analyzed, which provide a reference for the world´s offshore wind power development and construction. Sea-rich wind energy resources and the feasibility of the current technology indicate that offshore wind power will become a rapidly growing market and the equipment industry of offshore wind power will be a point of economic growth.
